How to Delete Your Aucword Account and Data

You can delete your Aucword account and its data yourself, from inside the app, at any time. You do not need to contact us first. If you can't reach the app, email hi@aucword.com and we'll do it for you.

Option 1 — Delete it in the app

This is the fastest route and it removes the account immediately.

Open Aucword and make sure you're signed in.
Open Settings (the gear icon on the watchlist screen).
Scroll to Delete Account.
Confirm when prompted. This cannot be undone.

You'll be signed out straight away, and the account will no longer be able to sign in.

Option 2 — Ask us by email

If you've lost access to the app or your device, email hi@aucword.com from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm once it's done, and we aim to respond within a few business days.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes:

Your Aucword account and sign-in record
Your eBay connection and the access tokens associated with it
Your saved watchlist data, cached listing details, and item images
Your alert settings and price targets
Your device push notification tokens, so notifications stop
Records of auctions you won that Aucword had stored

Personal data is removed within 30 days at the latest, as described in our Privacy Policy.

What may be retained

Usage statistics that are aggregated or no longer linked to you, kept to understand overall product usage
Records we are required to keep by law, and any records needed to resolve a dispute — kept only for as long as required

Two things deleting your account does not do

It does not touch your eBay account. Your eBay account, watchlist, bids, and purchase history all stay exactly as they are — Aucword only ever read them. You can also revoke Aucword's access directly in your eBay account settings.

It does not delete the app. Remove Aucword from your device the normal way if you want it gone as well.
