Aucword ("we," "us," or "our") is a mobile application for iOS and Android that helps you track eBay auctions in real time. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our apps and our website at aucword.com.

We do not use your information to serve you ads. We do not sell your data to anyone.
Aucword connects to eBay's API on your behalf using OAuth. This means you authorize Aucword to read your watchlist and buying activity — we never receive or store your eBay password.
The eBay data we access (item listings, prices, end times, bid counts) is used solely to power the app experience. We cache this data temporarily on our servers to keep the app fast and the widget updated. We do not share eBay data with any third parties.
You can revoke Aucword's access to your eBay account at any time via your eBay account settings.
Aucword uses Apple Push Notification service (APNs) on iOS and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) on Android to deliver alerts about ending auctions and price targets. Your device push token is stored securely on our servers and used only to send you notifications you've opted into.
You can disable push notifications at any time in iOS Settings → Aucword → Notifications, or on Android in Settings → Apps → Aucword → Notifications.
Your data is stored on servers provided by Supabase, hosted in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for data in transit and at rest.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain it by law.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers. When you sign in, your email address is sent to PostHog so that usage data and support requests can be tied to your account — your eBay credentials never are, and we do not share personal data with any other analytics provider.
Aucword is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, disclose, and sell (we don't sell any). You also have the right to request deletion and to opt out of sale (again, we don't sell). To submit a request, email hi@aucword.com.
Aucword participates in the eBay Partner Network. This means we may earn a small commission when you click through the app to eBay and make a purchase. This does not affect the price you pay, and it does not influence which items or auctions are shown to you. Affiliate participation helps support the ongoing development of the app.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We'll notify you of any significant changes via in-app notification or email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
